It seems all very strange for me reading this. Here I'm sitting with heaters on and big fat woolly socks on my feet and I won't go outside unless I absolutely have to when the temperature drops below 15C. Where I live the temperature never drops below freezing. It's reliable down to about -10C, especially the hybrid formula that TNF uses. I would not wear this in -25C, I have different jackets for that. I also wouldn't solo hike in the mountains at -25C, I'll stick to the walking trails in town when it's that cold.
That's t-shirt and shorts weather. I'll wear shorts down to -5C, but with a light jacket on my upper half. The serious winter gear doesn't come out until about -10C with additional wind chill.when the temperature drops below 15C
I just use a pair of pointy nosed pliers and rip the hair out. Nose and ears.Nose trimmer for my boyfriend. Had to do a lot of googling and review watching to find something which doesn't pull his hair or cuts him. So far so good!

Inquisition wasn't known for being meticulous? My father once had a "device" made for just that. It was a series of metal cylinders with crown-shaped edges on both ends. You twist and rotate the cylinders that brutally yank out those nose hairs.
Ironically it was meticulously machined, so I don't think it came from the Spanish Inquisition.
Oh well. I once had a girlfriend who insisted I shave her....she was terrified of razor blades in general.
