Their methodologies struck me as being a tad messy.

Except for on rare occasion when the comfy chair or the fluffy pillow were employed. Though it doesn't negate the reality that fear- fear and surprise were the best weapons of the Spanish Inquisition. ;)

Nothing better than gleefully burning people alive just because they don't believe in your religion. :rolleyes:

When the Spaniards arrived in the New World in the early 1500's, they were horrified by the Aztecs' and Mayans' human sacrifices. Meanwhile, back in Spain, they were literally burning people alive and making a spectator sport of it. So, which culture and people were savages?
