The last thing you bought?

A portable car tire inflator and tire valve caps. Will definitely save me trips to the nearest convenience store or car wash the next time my tires run low on pressure.

A box of masks. I was putting on my N95 mask before entering the subway station, and it broke. So I went to the pharmacy and bought a box of single use masks.

It's reliable down to about -10C, especially the hybrid formula that TNF uses. I would not wear this in -25C, I have different jackets for that. I also wouldn't solo hike in the mountains at -25C, I'll stick to the walking trails in town when it's that cold.
It seems all very strange for me reading this. Here I'm sitting with heaters on and big fat woolly socks on my feet and I won't go outside unless I absolutely have to when the temperature drops below 15C. Where I live the temperature never drops below freezing.

That's t-shirt and shorts weather. I'll wear shorts down to -5C, but with a light jacket on my upper half. The serious winter gear doesn't come out until about -10C with additional wind chill.

Speaking of which, I got a nice pair of neck gaiters for $11 on Amazon yesterday.

I have about four of them now in the style shown in the video as they're quite versatile. I like to have clean ones while some are in the wash. I use them a lot in conjunction with touques. Wind chill is a bugger on the Canadian Prairies.

I found these while doing groceries today. Usually I take a bit to hop on any new anime trend, but the art looks interesting and if my favorite vtuber likes it I’ll give it a shot. Ended up making a bookmark with Calliope Mori’s related designs on it.

Nose trimmer for my boyfriend. Had to do a lot of googling and review watching to find something which doesn't pull his hair or cuts him. So far so good!

Some food and an antibacterial shelf liner for underneath my sink. I saw how it was antibacterial and water resistant which I knew was perfect for a location that could easily spring a leak and contained cleaning products.

I just use a pair of pointy nosed pliers and rip the hair out. Nose and ears. :)

My father once had a "device" made for just that. It was a series of metal cylinders with crown-shaped edges on both ends. You twist and rotate the cylinders that brutally yank out those nose hairs.

Ironically it was meticulously machined, so I don't think it came from the Spanish Inquisition.

Oh well. I once had a girlfriend who insisted I shave her....she was terrified of razor blades in general and appreciated my ability to shave with minimal blood loss.

Inquisition wasn't known for being meticulous? :D

Their methodologies struck me as being a tad messy.

Except for on rare occasion when the comfy chair or the fluffy pillow were employed. Though it doesn't negate the reality that fear- fear and surprise were the best weapons of the Spanish Inquisition. ;)
