The importance of rigorous exercise

DHEA, caffeine, theobromine, theanine, phenylethylamine, adrafinil, and cannabis.

I'm really into supplements, drugs, etc. Adderall is a fantastic performance enhancer!

Have you tried mucuna puriens? Theyre not as good for preformance enhancement as for coming off of or cutting back on something. Taking it makes one hit off a bong feel like 5.

I'm guessing "noptropics" is a typo for "nootropics."

"Nootropics (colloquial: smart drugs and cognitive enhancers) are drugs, supplements, and other substances that are claimed to improve cognitive function, particularly executive functions, memory, creativity, or motivation, in healthy individuals."

"Nootropics are frequently advertised with unproven claims of effectiveness at improving cognition."
Nootropic - Wikipedia

Nootropics, or ‘Smart Drugs,’ Are Gaining Popularity. But Should You Take Them?

10 Things an Electromagnetic Field Can Do to Your Brain
Possible Effects of Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Field Exposure on Central Nerve System

"Salvia divinorum, or salvia for short, is an herb in the mint family that’s often used for its hallucinogenic effects."
What Is Salvia? Use, Effects, Risks, and More

Well thats interesting. People can see ghosts when near an electromagnetic field. This reminds me that all brains and nervous systems are electromagnets and so cannot help but affect eachother- maybe these hallucinations are the brains ability to sense the presence of other minds being set off by an electromagnetic feild

You post alot about using drugs, it makes me uncomfortable.

I really dont see why a thread about exercise needs to be promoting recreational drug use as a general practice.

The three "p"s are fun fifty dollar words to learn about.

Persistent

Prevalent

Pervasive

The first step in recovery is to recognize what substance abuse is. Often what's spoken of first is how pervasive is the drugging? This means how many aspects of your life is affected by it(or centered around it)? This word speaks to boundaries.

Also in self diagnosis the question of 'what are you trying to treat' is important too.

Perhaps, like many before, you you may take exception to the accepted definition of a drug. You might wish to redefine what a drug is, so as to be allowed to take it.

This is the most blatant example of reification Ive ever seen.

Please elaborate for the sake of clarity.

Definition of reify
transitive verb

: to consider or represent (something abstract) as a material or concrete thing : to give definite content and form to (a concept or idea)
Definition of REIFY

Reification (also known as concretism, hypostatization, or the fallacy of misplaced concreteness) is a fallacy of ambiguity, when an abstraction (abstract belief or hypothetical construct) is treated as if it were a concrete real event or physical entity. Reification (fallacy) - Wikipedia

Reification is when you take something contingent to be necessary, in this case the person sees the drug war as a natural phenomenon rather than a transient human dispute with no predefimned "right" answer. The fact is we owe most of this culture of ours to drug induced trances, without psychedelics religion likely would never have existed.
People only started to feel the need to ban them when it had become aparent that society was already on the decline. Increasing prohibitions and rules is a symptom of societal degradation.

I don’t see the value in the thread anymore.

Arguments about how important psychedelic plant extracts have been to human society... seems to be entirely off topic.

Arguments ‘for’ drug use here imho take the form of a naked assertion.

A difficulty with this thread is the fact that the apparent topic
"The importance of rigorous exercise" is overshadowed by an
emphasis on the use of *performance enhancing drugs.*

Whatever place psychedelic plant extracts may have had on
the development of any religion is entirely without bearing upon
the subject of "rigorous exercise."

Future posts in this thread should be directed toward the topic
"The importance of rigorous exercise."
