I'm vegetarian so I don't know what marshmallows taste like!I like cats better and ironically cats do better on sailboats who would have guessed that one?
I have a big fat black cat like yours named shadow.
A stupid question buttercuplols ,do any words taste like marshmallows? that would be nice
Thanks for that. I'm not that fussed as I've never tried them and never wanted to. I'm very sensitive to foods with unusual textures.I have been making a list of marshmallow brands and ingredients,
in the past 2 weeks, for an idea I have for a generator.
There are vegan marshmallow products...

There are kosher marshmallow products....

Sometimes kosher and vegan overlap.
But not necessarily.
Kosher marshmallows can contain animal based gelatin.
Halal marshmallows won't have any pork based gelatin.

Some marshmallow manufacturers use gelatin derived from
horses.
I have been experiment with pear cactus slime as egg replacer in breads for fun...I eat eggs and milk products but not meat. I have been thinking that adding corn starch which makes a fairly nice jello to pear cactus slime which may??? end up having the qualities to make a marshmallow type texture...we shall see?I have been making a list of marshmallow brands and ingredients,

You TOTALLY get it!If I am understanding the original topic, I think I do this too with words; not so much taste a specific flavor, but just enjoy rolling it around my mouth like some people do with wine. For example, whenever they say the name of the composer Schostakovich on my favorite radio station, I have to repeat it several times because it is so delightful and is a pleasant stim for the tongue.
And hi. That's why I used inverted commas to explain that it was 'taste' and not taste as it is in its original sense of the word. I also made a post further explaining what I meant. I don't know what else I can do to explain myself more clearly than that. Maybe advise people thoughroughly read the thread before replying? Or read up on punctuation and what putting these... ' ' around a word means. I don't mean to sound bitchy but I feel frustrated at having keep explaining myself over and over. I can here because I'm sick of that in real life and I thought someone might understand.Yeah, from what OP said, not about 'flavor' as in taste differentiation, like
sweet/salt/sour/bitter at all.
About the shape/feel/sensation of using language.
But some people have been thinking about the other situation.
Because it wasn't initially clear that the word 'taste' was being used
in a metaphorical sense.
