Talking About Trains...

Gnomy colours! :D
Yes ,indeed... the truck you sent, was a knockout ! We Loved it. If we are able to be able to get. a gnomie Loco. After the basic colours, eventually am hoping to hive it detailing, that makes it look like it had been a actual Used Loco, running for years on the same line.
My hands are not as steady as they used to be , but might include walkways on each sde of the Boiler . Maybe. artificially put RR grit from the sleepers and bedrock and grit, dust only around in track wheels . Not sure where to source a mini engineer in the cab? That would be even vlose to scale fir a Gnomie RR. But did think if ,I could find or cast,a model of a mini yard gnome, to put in the Cab?What do you think?

7mm scale people are easy enough to find. I have more than one potential locos. As you mentioned a grimy loco as if it had had a hard life I have one. Is a little diesel done in typical American style and has Kaden style couplings. I have not used these couplings myself but I know most Americans use them so spares over there should not be a problem. It is in a type of old wooden brown and dirt colour.

Well ,I had in mind ,? Something that looked more traditionally gnomie like , Steam Train Locol but narrow guage ..The one in the picture, that one looks like it has been in use..?
It looks rather classic to me , and obvious a early days styling. Seems alittle tram like to me, from my angle ? Very Early RR Tracks Tram ( Citylike) or Tourist even ,

Or this steam loco? This could be repainted yellow or red?

yes that is much more like what I had in mind . if we decide on that ,we might need to figure out how to make financial arrangements for funds transfer . ? Or however to do it ?

You can make them? Is about trial and error to see which ways work when making them. My railway waggons took a fair amount of trying out different ideas before I was happy on final designs.
What is required it to develop a basic design to make tractors that can be easily altered to make different types of tractor if that makes sense? Resin casting is useful for wheels and things like that. Is not so good for model railway wheels (I tried it) as flanges need to be very thin but strong. Possibly I could add fine metal filings to add strength but for tractor wheels it would be good. Tyres can either be painted or one can actually buy rubber stuff which is mouldable, though I can't remember where I saw it or if it is still available.
But it can be fun making things from tin, or resin or wood etc., though you may find a larger scale is easier.
Something that works for me is to avoid fine details but instead have a good overall consistent impression in ones build as it is easier to achieve successful results.
Keeping designs nice and simple and having a consistent approach. :)

(Some more waggons as seen before on other threads).
THIS ALL SOUNDS VERY ETHEREAL. HAHA
HA.

I want a older looking Green one , like the above picture. It has a very realistic looking Pateina...Think the mining diorama would suite it nicely.
