I do not need an self identify something or other, because most people ignore me anyway. Now, is that being negative or realistic lol How about, a negative comment, being realistic?!!
There are some nts who actually think I am normal, but they are not normal nts and that is probably why.
I met a male aspie a couple of year's ago, but I was not as positive as I am about my aspieness and felt very uncomfortable, as though I was trying to get him to see that I am one, which I hate doing ie making conversation fit traits. Didn't matter anyway, since he was glued to his VERY nt wife and barely uttered two words.
I was itching to get him on his own for a good conversation, because the few things he did say, were definitely on my wave length, but he was so shy that it was impossible and being that I have chronic social anxiety, I did not have the courage to pursue a conversation.
I do have a friend and am convinced she is an aspie, simply because she was the only one who got what I was trying to say and nts did not get it and yet, for the life of me, I could not see what was so difficult to understand?!
