Sadism: help please!

Kinda expected this response. I don't know what reaction you want out of me

I'm not sure what you expected to get out of this topic, though.

As much as I always wish we could help everyone, I think this one is mostly out of our wheelhouse. Particularly considering that a very frequent trait of autism is what I might call an overblown sense of empathy. Some of us get overloaded VERY fast upon seeing even just a tiny bit of pain in others.

Even I had trouble reading though it, and I'm extremely jaded after decades on the internet. That bit about the dogs... revolting. I had to take a break after seeing that one. Not that the rest of it was any better.

The negative reactions and anger you're seeing in this topic was really the only possible outcome.

Even if that bizarre old stereotype had been true, the one about autistic people lacking empathy, well... even then, what possible benefit would there be? What would you expect to happen? An echo chamber? That's not very useful to anyone.

I'll give the piece of advice I always give with heavier topics like this, and say that this simply isnt the way to get help. I dont mean just this forum. My rule has always been very, very simple, and it's one that I wish I could get more people to understand: Never ask for direct medical or psychiatric help on the internet. There are no exceptions to this. None.

This here is very much a heavy topic, and not only is outside of our ability to deal with, but there also is nowhere on the entire internet that is qualified to help with this. Even places that very specifically state that they do so with that topic should never be trusted to give the kind of help that you need. Could end up making it worse. I always think of Reddit and the "depression" sub, which is absolutely one of the worst conceivable places on the internet to go to for help with depression. It's so bad that the fact that it's allowed to even exist is baffling to me.

The only correct move is to talk to a professional. NOT over the internet. Find a qualified, certified professional who is able to help with this type of thing, and go to them.

Seriously, you very much need the help, if everything you've said is true. That help is not to be found here or anywhere else online.

Strange thread, one of my brothers has a undergraduate in psychology. told me years ago sociopaths do not care about others. If the OP is being up front they may not be a sociopath definitely not one of us. Troll?
