Reconsidering my move to Los Angeles

Lately, I've read two articles about California and how there's a drought there and how a big earthquake will hit SoCal in the next thirty years.

Before you post anything here, try not to post anything snide or overly harsh; it's just me realizing that maybe I shouldn't move to Los Angeles, despite the fact I love it there for many reasons. I'll still visit, still keep my SN here, maybe have my wedding there.... but these two articles in themselves have made me reconsider. I live in Seattle, and I donno where to go now. :(

Cali has horrible state taxes, and much higher living expenses such as rent, compared to other places in the u.s.a. If you can afford to live there no problems, but just realize that what you save living somewhere else could add up by the time you retire.
