Question for aspie gamers

Since pattern recognition is a trait of Aspergers, I was thinking. Does frame rate fall under this? I myself am extremely sensitive to frame rate. I just picked up Mario Kart 8 and from the first race I noticed microstutter. I thought nothing of it until I looked up the native resolution to see if I could use my 720p tv without a big quality hit.

Anyways, I found an article stating that every 64 frames it displays a duplicate frame. That means the microstutter is 16.2 microseconds. It's also stated that most of people would not perceive the stutter.

Does anyone else notice these things?

I'm a gamer and I haven't noticed anything regarding the frame rate. I do know some people are more sensitive to frame rates than others.
