Once again I avoided a fatal accident :/

So today I was walking on outside and as I was passing by the electricity services building, I got distracted by a pigeon sitting on top of a cable, kinda staring at it and nearly got hit by a car that was coming out of the building's inner parking lot. Apparently I neither heard any noises from it nor did it click to me to actually..watch before walking forward from that spot..even though I do know that they have a parking lot inside and often they have trucks coming in and out of it.

Honestly if I had no more than 10 cents for every fatal accident I have missed since childhood, I would have completely solved my financial issues up to my retirement. I don't know if this is only due to my dyspraxia or an autism thing as well.

The one pro from all this is that since my childhood and all the times I had been mildly or seriously clumsy, I developed very strong and fast reflexes.

Stop doing that. You're gonna get hurt.

(I know. I do things like this, too.)

I do see a lot of death around me. And it can feel unnerving. It's been this way since l was a child. But l usually arrive after a smash up, or a bank hold-up just happened. My friend calls me calamity Jane. Because they have been with me during this.
