Obsessions and interests you can't afford

Traditional art. When I was a kid I yearned for a set of expensive PrismaColor markers. Maybe if I hit the lottery I'll buy a set and immerse myself in drawing.

Same goes for bass guitar. I actually have one back at home but it's in such shoddy condition that it's barely playable. I don't know the first thing about music theory, so I wouldn't call it an "obsession", but I've always appreciated a good bassline (and tight rhythm sections in general).
