Not ASD/Austim syntoms, but differnt.

I couldn't possibly say whether or not you might have ASD (as I say every time), but it sounds like you share many of the characteristics and challenges many of us do face. Welcome!

Developmental disorders arent so black and white. Dyspraxia and ASD share some very common symptoms, and are both under the very wide umbrella of "Developmental Disorders" of Nerodevelopmental Disorders. I think since aspergers was removed from the DSM-5 that there has been a push to not throw around autism diagnosis so readily.

Dont get too hung up on the label. Try and use your diagnosis, to understand your strengths and weaknesses better. Whatever the Doctors name it.

I do think that Aspies can have unusual vocal patterns, and pitch. I myself have been asked what my accent is ( I dont have an accent) and I put the emphasis on the wrong syllables some times. You should google a ukulele player named Poopylongstuffing - I watched a video about her AS diagnosis when i was on youtube. Her voice is very odd, but i think it is pretty. I personally like people with odd voices. It is like they have an accent from a country that only has 1 person living in it.

Hi,

Yes thank you; but at the same time I don't have any of the ASD symptoms ...??
I think many of the symptoms are very multi faceted, no clear guidelines pretty much like anything when discussing Autism. I think there are many different types of Autism than the couple of types that are commonly described.

I usually do not worry about the types, I tend to have a couple of symptoms from one type and others from another type.
