Just wanted to announce that we have two great new features available at Aspies Central (well, one has been around for a while but I forgot to announce it).
Post Likes System
This is a system whereby a member can "like" a post made by another member - similar to the "Like" system that Facebook has. This feature serves two purposes:
1. To easily gather a collection of interesting/helpful posts and make them easily accessible.
2. To provide members with a way of saying thanks to a member for a particular post.
The more people that use the likes system, the more useful it should become for the whole community. Instructions on how to use it are below.
1. Go to any thread and at the top-right you will notice a box that displays the number of likes within that thread. If a thread does not yet have any liked posts, the box will not display.

2. Click the box and when you hover over a liked post, a portion of preview text for that post will display.

3. When you hover over any post within the forums (except in private forums) you will see the option to like that post or share it, at the bottom right of the post area. If the post has already been liked, the name of the member who liked it will be shown.

4. When you visit a members profile, the block on the left will display how many likes the member has given and received.

Activity Streams Feature
This has been around for a short time now but in case you hadn't noticed:
We now have a feature called "Activity Streams". This feature displays as the first tab of your Aspies Central profile page and lists your recent activity within the forums. Multiple things are displayed like your recent posts, threads, visitor messages and so-on. It's a good way for others (and of course yourself) to see what you've been getting up to in the community.

To access your profile, click the link at the very top of this page or your username anywhere within the forums. Feedback and suggestions welcome.
