My delusional phenomena

Kind of, it's just that this delusion I had made me feel traumatized.
That makes sense that even when the delusions are reduced, the trauma experienced remains for awhile. Do you have treatment available for trauma? Are you satisfied with your current mental health care situation?

I am in the process of getting a psychologist.

Faceblindness is fairly common amongst all people in various degrees. It is a neurological miswiring. Delusions, however, are a form of mental illness. You are not mentally ill!

I hope you can drop the word "delusion" concerning this topic because you are not mentally ill and other people can be cruel and think you are mentally ill simply because you describe your self as "delusional".
I have facial blindness and need to see a face in person before I know what they like.
Even if I look at a photo I will never know what a person actually looks like until I see them in real life
And if I looked at photos of me I never thought they looked as good as what I saw in the mirror and hated photos a lot.
But now I think I am sexy both ways now I have confidence and can actually be happy with a photo that does not look the way I like because I think I am beautiful inn all photos. Because posing for photos can be weird.
I like taking photos of myself because it is fun but I also know life is not just about the way I look and I still do not love every photo.
I am a big photo person and enjoy it.
But I do really struggle with facial recognition but in real life you can see all aspects of a person like when their face and eyes light up, their beautiful smile, the way they carry themselves and socialise. Happy people are beautiful people and if a person has self love or confidence they will just glow.
