Mothers & Fathers of Children with Autism Needed for Study

Member
Biological or step-mothers and -fathers raising children 3 years, 0 months to 17 years, 11 months who have been diagnosed with autism are needed for a research study. Study aims to identify factors which make parents stronger and more likely to result in perceived positive experiences in raising children with autism. Participants will complete an online questionnaire which may take 30-40 minutes and upon completion be offered a $5 Starbucks eGift. Participants will also be asked if they are interested in completing a 20-minutes phone interview and from those who are selected a small number will be randomly selected to complete the interview and offered an additional $5 Starbucks eGift. I am still in need of mothers to participate but am very much in need of fathers (and couples) to complete the survey. The online survey is designed to guarantee participants anonymity and any identifying information will be kept confidential and be removed prior to any data analysis is performed.

Please contact me, University of Windsor Clinical Graduate Student Mitchell Loepp ([email protected]) to participate. Thank you very much for all of your help!
