For editing, music, videos, photos and etc, what operating system(s) and software you use and why?
 
I use windows because that's what I'm familiar with.
Mac seems a good choice if you're starting out as it comes bundled with iMovie which beats anything bundled with a windows system.
Any OS should be ok with the right SW.
