List just one thing you did today

My partner disagreed with me, l disagreed with him, then we both just moved on. Success, we are both stubborn so this is a giant breakthru.

Got a "shore power" cord into my car interior. I'd spent a long time wondering how to get it through the firewall, but when I went to look today, I saw an easy way that worked. We are having a rare "warm" day, so I pushed ahead instead of going for a nap.

Well, it's yesterday now, but I was shoveling snow on the sidewalks at just the right time to help my excellent neighbour recover from a bad fall.

I just picked the garden greens - turnips, mustard, kale, collards, and a bunch of herbs because everything is going to freeze solid tomorrow night and stay that way for several days. I'll cook all the greens this afternoon and freeze whatever we don't eat tonight for dinner. I also pulled some purple turnip roots which I'll add to the big pot of greens the last 30 minutes of cooking. I like turnip roots but hubby doesn't so he can pick them out of his food. ;)

It's 68 degrees F here right now. I could wear shorts and be comfortable. By tomorrow, it will be about 27 degrees. 🥶

Tied strings to dry corn on the cob and hung them on the back deck for the amusement of the tree bunnies*.

* "tree bunny" is family code for "squirrel." If we say "squirrel" out loud, the dogs go nuts. They haven't caught to phrases like "Oh! Look at all the tree bunnies!" yet.

I survived another earthquake, about 30 minutes ago. A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck Mindoro, Philippines on Monday, 2025-01-20, at about 18:43 local time. The quake was at a depth of about 10 km (~6.21 miles).
