List just one thing you did today

While walking the dog I found an oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) growing on a fallen branch, so I wandered around looking for more.

I didn't find any, but finding one means that in a day or two they'll be everywhere.

In a good year I can harvest enough to last for several years. The weather is perfect (wet & chilly), so this MAY be a good year.

They are delicious. I love them. It is the only wild mushroom that grows where I live that is worth eating. Even one is worth eating. Yum!

Edit: And what I did today was more chain sawing.

It's hard to list just one item. I held boards in place for my Dad to cut before heading to the horse pasture with my Mama. The horses needed their trough filled and we ended up discovering that the new hose had gotten a hole in it already so we are back to hauling water down to the trough because the remaining hoses are not long enough without the end one. Thankfully, we were able to roll the bucket on a cart this time rather than hand toting buckets like we did the first time. Afterwards, we found multiple sections of wire down. When we returned home, we learned that one of the chickens have died. Now I am to prepare afternoon tea for everyone.
 
Texted my neighbor. Yesterday, bought silverware at Walmart for a couple that are moving into a house, no more car living, yay yay yay.
 
I cut the front "lawn."

That isn't as much fun as it sounds, but the advantage of having an ecosystem instead of a lawn is that it will sometimes give gifts.

Today I got a full meal of white morels.

I paid for therapy sessions online, but sadly, my sister told me about something that isn't likely to provide any suppport letter as the outcome. Thus, I feel as if I may have wasted £180 to go setting it up.

My sis ain't very well, you see. What she thinks is supposed to be medical help and what is help aren't the same precise thing.
 
Went to check on a snake that I've been seeing around and found it stretched out in the sun.
