I was going out for my bike exercise, and saw a garage sale. There, I found a rubber ducky to put in the pond that floods my back yard and the neighbour's every spring. Then, out of town, there was a mandatory inspection station for watercraft. The cop looked bored, so I stopped and asked if the duck sitting on my carrier was OK.

I drove to Orlando and took my daughter to the Titanic artifacts museum and then we went out to eat. A good day.

That Titanic artifacts museum sounds fun. Today we found out that brother #2 will check his blood type to see if he can be transplant donor. The first brother wasn"t a match.

Well, today I have to add stuff to USB sticks for my lawyer. This is kind of ironic, because I used to have another solicitor before my current one, and he once made out he lost this device I gave him that had proof on it. Fortunately, I "got it back" after becoming a tattie private eye, walking the streets of Edinburgh, picking up photos that helped me to "recover" it at the lawyer's previous firm.

I was being sarcastic. That wasn't me. That was some dumb troll on YouTube, who posted a series of videos to poke fun at my situation. I wouldn't be surprised if the dude starts doing Blair Street Sauna, Craigmillar, or HMP Edinburgh clips next. I could do with a laugh.

Anyway, my sister contacted a MSP to say I have protected characteristics, and that me having to go to Glasgow is not right. So a person with protected characteristics should be let off in court, if there is evidence that people were basically doing things to get the person riled up. So since I have said protected characteristics, I shouldn't be dealing with this nonsense in the first place. But the court system in Scotland, and no doubt elsewhere, is just incredibly maimed and a colossal waste of money and time. If I must be frank.

And today....drum roll....I finally finished my trip report from my 2023 canoe trip in Saskatchewan. Whew! I feel a great sense of accomplishment, perhaps more than actually doing the trip.

I built a new rick (a structure made of sticks, hence the term "rickety") for a new section of buried log culture in the garden.

I still have to fill it with leaves, sticks, log chunks, then pile dirt on it all. That's for tomorrow.

I want to hear more about this rick and it's intended purpose, please. And what is a "buried log culture" Not here, obviously, but if it is a garden thing, we do have a garden thread around here somewhere.

I built a hugelkulture pyramid and was disappointed as to how quickly it settled and now you can't tell there was any elevation at all.

I did the dishes. YAY! And I am going into the kitchen now to wash more. (I have only limited hot water.)

Scheduled urology appointment for partner. Found out by voicemail, second brother is not a blood match for transplant kidney for them, disappointing.

Wandered around in the rain, trying to photograph falling raindrops. I failed to capture one, but I had a good time.
