Post the last album you listened to. If you want, you may include songs off the album in your post.

This is the last thing I listened to (and what I'm actually still listening to ATM):

This thread may help us discover new music.

I haven't listened to an entire album in years, so the last album would've been Joan of Arc- Eventually All At Once. I tend to listen to select songs now.

Nanci Griffith's Last of The True Believers.

Kinda Country-Folk fusion. Includes the prettiest song I've ever heard about prostitution "Looking For The Time (Working Girl)".

Perhaps my favorite EP:

My Bloody Valentine - Thorn

[mp3]http://cl.ly/6r2B/03_-_Thorn.mp3[/mp3]

Walk all over me
Even though you can't decide
Look out, (jump back)
You'll be on your own

Hillside, slip and slide
Feel the pain, it's no surprise
Look out, look out
Thorn will be your love

I felt your hair across my skin
I didn't know where to begin
A shallow promise in my ear
No thoughts, no dreams, no wishes, and no fear

The rose is dead, your face serene
No memories of things that once did seem
To be to me important too
You give me flowers when it's thorns I give to you

Nirvana - Come As You Are (live)

[MP3]http://cl.ly/9Sbn/07_Come_As_You_Are.mp3[/MP3]

I'm surprised that I never knew about this album especially considering that it was released two years ago already. I just listened to it for the first time tonight. Great live album.

I just listened to the self-titled album by a band called Motograter. I think the singer has an awesome voice... at least for metal standards. Before listening to that, I listened to 2 albums of his other bands (Ghost machine & Five finger death punch)

Anyway, here's a sample from that album

I've listened to Arrows & Anchors by Fair to Midland. Which is one of the better albums I've heard in a while

LD 50 by Mudvayne.. not technically their first, but their first on a big label though.

A band that looked like this, had a groovy album infused with a lot of drug references (including part of recordings by Terrence McKenna) and executed it pretty decent can't do much wrong in my book. Their look did help a bit to get me at least have a listen to their stuff back then... 10 years ago or so. It's one of those albums I like to blast every once in a while.

I didn't like their more recent work... the follow up wasn't that interesting I thought and the albums after that not at all.. though sales and all might disagree with me, lol

Here's a couple of music videos and tracks from that album
