Hi everyone! I'm Merissa. A freelance children's writer from a small town in Southeast WA state. I GET to have PDD NOS. I struggle in this world sometimes but at least I get to be unique. I came to this forum because I have an "autistic" type humor and I want to make friends who don't judge and who understand me more and are proud of who they are! Nice to meet. What's up? :D

I started writing when I was 7. But I knew in kindergarten that I wanted to be a writer. When I published my last book my old teachers said that they thought I would change my mind. But writing is something I have always fallen back on.

Lol that was a? Not a statement. Sorry. :)
No worries, I have the same issue on my ipad sometimes. Just so you know, you can edit posts afterwards, and fix little errors like that, hehe :p

At the moment I'm studying animation at uni

That's pretty cool. I have made a few stop motion animations and at one point I thought about doing animation. But decided not to because I don't have the patience for it as a career but I like making them for fun.

Ah, nice. Stop-mo is fun, but I couldn't do it for a living; takes a steady hand, and so much patience. And yeah, you really need to be obsessed with animation to do it, or it'll drive you nuts, haha :P
