Irma in south Florida

I just checked; as of a few hours ago the Tampa Bay area was still without power. When something like that happens it tends to knock out everything. We were without power here for over a week back in 2011 after the super outbreak. An F5 took out the towers. My cell phone worked, which was amazing since I have an el cheapo Net10. Those that were using the high-dollar devices lost communications.

I'm certain she'll pop up as soon as they get everything reconnected.
878,000 customers to reconnect in florida

Port Aransas in Texas said 'don't sleep in your house at night they still have a curfew ,still restoring power ,still need :donations of:rakes ,cleaning supplies other things ,don't need clothing ,bedding that's diverted elsewhere.
Don't sleep on the beach! brave to want to try.

Yeah thats where a lot of my family and friends are... Its a mess, Some are saying it and RockPort are being called a total loss. Lots of problems down there. Susan is in Tampa Florida its a mess there also. My heart is with these people. Its sad to suddenly be homeless and helpless, but people are strong we fix stuff and start over.

I think they are going to take some FEMA trailers to those who lost everything till they can get this sorted out. Its just really upsetting to have so many people with nothing to return home too.

I'm back. Just like a bad penny. ;)
No damage to home. No injuries. Just no power, no cells, wi-fi. Food was hard to find. Stores and restaurants are just now getting power and restocking.
Very hot trying to sleep. Electric was restored by Thursday morning but the cable company infrastructure wasn't. Just returned a few hours ago and may be off and on for a while as the messages say they are still working on it.

The eye turned inland before it hit Tampa. Everything is messy and a lot of clean up to do. Haven't seen major structural damage around here. Lots of trees downed and power lines. Will be back tonight if able.

Chance said in his home town not even the water tower is standing, when I looked at the hurricane Harvey fund this morning they're trying to get $100,000 they've got $71,000 so far
Couldn't find any pictures on Google of port aransas where he's from

I still don't understand how some buildings are standing and some aren't suppose that's The autistic trait surfacing .
I think I'm slightly less shocked by it because of the explosion on the underground in London on Friday and the thought but it's all starting again
