Introducing myself

welcome to af.webp

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum. I am 41. I got officially diagnosed with autism in the latter part of last year. I’m here to be a part of a community for shared experiences and support. Also, to hopefully learn more and understand my diagnosis better.

I am starting coaching with an Autism Coach and someone suggested also joining a forum which led me to here.

I look forward to connecting with everyone.

Thank you for reading.
Hello. I am new too although a parent. I do think I may be autistic too but am put off of going to the doctor due to the 2yr wait to be assessed & I sadly don’t have the £2500 to pay for it privatly.
also knowing my daughter has received no help or guidance since receiving her diagnosis doesn’t fill me with hope.
