I think that there are two huge factors not being recognized. One is the cancellation of logic-based social science such as Sociobiology in favour of dogma. The other is the effect of hormones from modern agriculture in the food of young people. There's probably a propensity to getting sterilized just to avoid bringing children into the modern crisis, with any handy rationale for it.

I definitely agree that more logic and science needs to be applied. For example, an important component to achieving scientific accuracy is random sampling. There are many reasons why studies like these would attract more people with non-traditional preferences, thus overestimating the number of people who identify as having these modern sexual preferences.

The problems are several: Beauty, attraction and then sexual goings on are not always inclusive.

I'm "attracted" to "beautiful" guitars. I'm in no way about to go humping or grinding on one. Granted, there are folks who might do just that. Guitars aren't humans or gender types, being the main point. In general, you could dive into the realm of "kinks" and find a lot more information that sets your claim way, way, way off to the side. What gets sexualized by people is infinite seemingly.

Ideas and ideals, too, though. Intelligence alone can be "sexy." Looks truly aren't everything to everyone. If they were, well, then you would have the issue of folks all being really shallow and probably a TON of single parents beyond what is already too many. Also, we have blind people. What about all of their processes in desires? Not only them, either...there are folks in the world who haven't however many working senses to know what gender or such means to the rest of us at all.

Overall, the original post is rooted in what makes conspiracy theories occur. It's a foundation of saying that they know secret information that most everyone else doesn't or just can't know. Speculation without evidence (aside from their person experience) is all that follows. Oops.

If most people are secretly bisexual then being gay is a choice, so gay conversion therapy should have worked or not even be needed at all, and there was no logical reason for people to be openly or even secretly gay before homosexuality stopped being so socially frowned-upon. Moreover, the case could be made that there would be minimal harm in enforcing heteronormativity and penalising homosexuality across society since people don't really need to be gay and can just have partners of the opposite sex.

If homosexuality is an innate sexual orientation, it would be reasonable to assume that heterosexuality is also an innate sexual orientation. The assertion that most people are innately bisexual collapses under scrutiny. OP is projecting their own bisexuality onto the general population.
