There may be answer to be found, yet it may not necessarily be through any conventional religion. And that it may find you, as opposed to you seeking it. I was an agnostic for years, until I had an unsolicited paranormal encounter. Only until then did I attempt to "work the problem".
I'm a bit late to the party here because of course I am, being late to things is like, my gimmick (no seriously, IRL I'm late to *everything*)
But I just wanted to second this part.
There's a line I heard in a Youtube comment once (what a place to get insight, hah) and it goes something like: "nobody believes in the paranormal until it hits them in the face" and at this point... yeah. I agree with that line.
There's no way to be ready for it, either. When/if it happens... it just bloody HAPPENS. For me it was near the end of last year (I think that's when it started, my memory is so bad). Two incidents, the first being abrupt and short, the second only the start of something ongoing. First one was HORRID. Ran from that. I'm not the sort to experience nightmares when I sleep, but if I did, all of them would be about that incident. The second incident is just... constant, it doesnt stop. Not BAD, just constant and mildly annoying because it cant just come with a bloody instruction manual.
I've never really been the super skeptical sort to begin with, simply because that strikes me as illogical... who am I to make assumptions about the truth of freaking reality? I cant even do simple division, like basic math stuff, I aint qualified to even start to think I have the answers to the big questions. But at this point, even if I had been the skeptical sort... I wouldnt be anymore, because I'd be making a complete doofus of myself if I was. It'd be like trying to pretend that my car doesnt exist when I'm sitting in it.
My point is... that I've had a lot of caffeine and am having trouble remaining coherent.
In all seriousness though,
@KagamineLen, what I'm saying is that the answer may come in a surprising way. And the important think is to truly THINK about it, when something occurs that may be a bit... odd. The world presents you with all sorts of screwball challenges and puzzles. It's just how it works. This topic is another one of those, and how you go about dealing with it is entirely up to you. Some of us can offer advice on how to deal with it, but... you have to figure out what actions to take to learn whatever it is you need to learn.
I'd try to advise you but I dont know enough. And I'm not sure what would help in your specific situation.
Am I making ANY sense at all here? I'm so jittery.
That's enough of me rambling.
