How To Overcome Avoidance?

I decided along with my therapist that right now I am just not ready to take on a full time job because I am still suffering from serious flashbacks due to my bullying & tormenting that I experienced in school because of my sexual orientation. I have major problems being around other people for any length of time. I am going to regular therapy sessions & in the meantime working for my family's business. I plan on going through vocational rehabilitation soon & am going to pursue a physical therapy or massage therapy certification.

I got my results of my autism test and I am in fact mildly autistic so that wasn't a shock. My sensitivities & problems with changing a routine are still a major obstacle for me though. I need flexibility & a sense of personal freedom yet I also like to stick to my routines. So I am using the vocational rehab services & making my own plans. I am also still working through trying to find the right medications that can help me with this. Avoidance is a big problem & temptation to fall into.
