Hi, I'm Judi. I recently found out I am autistic and would like to ask if anyone has experienced rare reactions to foreign objects in the body?

Sometimes it’s just going to suck. I have a bunch of screws in my back and I just found out I’m going to need more.

I have a few choices to make soon, and dwelling on how much it will hurt isn’t going to change anything.

It still saddens to be in this position. I never really considered my body breaking down, way off in my old age…… but that future is now, and it’s coming whether I cry about it or not. (I admit that I spent a few years being really depressed about the whole mess). But there’s a time to cry, and a time to start making the tough decisions.

I hear you. I'm looking at a partial knee replacement, and it looks like my hernia operation from 5 years ago may have failed. I'm also having annoying drops in blood pressure if I get up too fast. It may be a cliche, but growing old is not easy.

Yep…. and sitting around dwelling on it is about as productive as watching paint dry.
