I'm currently in Grade 12 in high school and got officially diagnosed last year. I first went to see a psychologist because I was extremely anxious around people and it wasn't getting any better. It was clear that my social anxiety was merely a symptom of a deeper problem, one which could explain my strange behaviours and thought processes.

I do have a girlfriend, although sometimes I want to slap myself for not being as emotionally available to her as I should be. But I'm glad to have someone as understanding as her, because she accepts me despite my quirks.

Anyways, I hope I can be of some help in here. Will definitely be venting every now and then, just a friendly warning :cute:

It's good you have someone who accepts you as you are, we here also accept people as they are, so welcome to aspiescentral.com ; ]
