Hi Bill, like @WhitewaterWoman, I was 64 before I discovered I was autistic. It certainly explained a lot for me, and was a major, positive influence for my mental health. It is, indeed, a learning experience, and quite a different one from the generations that followed us. Hope you can find support and greater understanding through the community here.
