Hello,

You may call me "Chase" for short. I am in my 20's and live on the East Coast.

When I was still in school, they suggested that my parents get me tested for ASD because I was showing signs. However, being a different time, they took it as a negative and I was never officially tested, but my school did bring in a therapist who put me through ASD type therapies and put me in extra classes. Now that I am an adult, I have decided to do some research and find that I have a lot of the cognitive and social difficulties that those with ASD have. I had more questions that I couldn't find answers to so I decided to join this forum and get some more answers from people who know this condition firsthand.

Welcome to the Forums! I hope you make new friends and enjoy your stay in the process!

And it's not really a condition in the classical sense, it's just a different way of living and thinking.
