I get super excited and happy at little things. I love opening the windows during a thunderstorm and drinking hot cocoa with real marshmallows (not those that come in those little packets). I love streaming my YouTube play lists via Wii and dancing around the house, singing and doing housework at the same time. I love nature and rainbows, cats and dogs, baking. Springtime rain is what I've really held onto since childhood. Getting out there and wading alongside the curb, not a care in the world.

I try. When I was a kid and teen I would completely lose myself for hours in my special interests and it was heaven. It's been harder to do that since I started working (and taking regular breaks from the computer to stand up & walk around every half hour for health's sake). I'm almost always hyper aware of the time (and how much of it I have) and that makes it hard to get absorbed in things. And sometimes when I have a bad day (especially with a meltdown) I block all good feeling out and withdraw from my special interests for fear of tainting them. (Like, I don't want to watch a certain cartoon and end up with it reminding me of what happened that day.) But I try to enjoy things, especially on my days off.

And I've gotten more excited about the new DuckTales now that I'm following some of its crew online, so I guess that counts. I guess Disney cartoons are still easy for me to lose myself in. Music too. I LOVE music. <3

Yes, yes and yes! I have never lost my childhood wonder, I take joy in everything I see - especially nature and animals.

I am like maelstrom in that I love cloud watching. I am forever walking into trees and objects whilst walking and gazing up at the sky - it memorises me. I love to watch the sun rise every morning - the different colours over the horizon and sea never cease to amaze me. Every sunrise is unique.

I never want to lose my childhood wonder and general excitement!

My writing and photography has been a lifelong hobby which has turned into a business, working from home in my safe little office is perfect for me.

I too love the smell of rain. I love the aroma of different seasons and I can 'smell' coldness and warmth.

I think that I unlike most people. I still have a childlike curisousity about the world around me.

Yes I have always held onto art throughout my life by drawing, etc. I now do it professionally and as a hobby.

I live close to an airport, so I am fascinated with planes landing and taking off on the runway. I can actually see this from my bedroom window...I love to gaze up at the night sky, seeing and counting the stars, and finding constellations...The look of any type of cloud, whether it is fluffy against a clear sky or an ominous thundercloud. Thunderclouds are scary yet beautiful...Multi-colored leaves littering the sidewalks on an autumn day. I like to hear them crunch under my feet...A rainbow after freshly fallen rain...Different phases of the moon...The rush of ocean waves as it beats against the shores, knowing that further out and deep down exists an ecosystem with animals that we do not even know about...

In the last 3-4 months I had been back into Lego. It's more fun as a 38 year old since I don't have pressures from my parents to dismantle my creation or have an older Brother who would randomly smash up my creation.

Marriage, raising children, working and trying to be all adulty and responsible squashed it. Life was very serious indeed.

Sometimes, when I find something funny, I laugh a lot... a lot more than an adult would normally laugh at something. My family sometimes deliberately trigger me because they find it amusing that I laugh so much.
