While I am struggling with sleep issues, I do a routine that includesFitness thread--what was your workout today?
I try, but it takes a few 15 mile days in a canoe or kayak to get arms, back and abs in shape. What a lot of people miss about canoeing/kayaking is that you don't get power from your arms. Forward power comes from torso rotation, bringing the large muscle groups into play.Just did three sets of dumbbell exercises for shoulder muscles, all supersets. Shoulder presses with 20 lbs per side, lateral raises and front raises, both with 5 lbs per side, 10 reps for each exercise. Right now, I don't need a whole lot of weight to get a good burn in the shoulders. I'll be increasing reps before increasing any weight.
