Slippery slope is always a poor argument.

I agree that a possible action or non-action should be evaluated on the basis of what it is in itself, and not on the basis of what future things some might fear that it might lead to.

Slippery Slope, it is not a poor arugment. Cambridge Ma, they made it illegal for stores to use 1 use plastic bags, then they added a fee to use paper bags. They want to force people to use reusable bags.

Coworker asks you for 20 bucks, and you let them borrow it, then couple weeks later they ask for 20 more. Before you know it, you are giving them 50, I say giving them 50 because you won't see that money again.

OK so we ban cell phones in cars. What else should we ban? I listen to talk radio, sometimes they drive me nuts and I yell at them! Kind of like some phones calls I have had with pizza places.....
