Here are some more train pictures for all to enjoy. I have been working on a new smaller and more manageable raised outdoor railway as the new family Beagle thinks everything is a chew toy. So the first pics here are of that new railway.







I have been also working on a small indoor railway in a smaller scale. Was going to go back to the trains of my childhood, Lionel, but the noise is overwhelming in my small room I have for the train layout. So the Lionels will only come out at Christmas time under the tree, and in its place, I traded for a Marklin HO scale German train set that is much quieter. I do not have to wear my headset to enjoy them like I had to with the Lionel. Mike

Lego trains are cool, not cheap either, but what in lego land is cheap? When I get my new live steam engine I am trading for, I will post some pics. Mike the Aspie

i love your train sets dodger they are awesome! i just showed my dad and he was in awe to.

i have multiple trainsets [all thomas the tank and varying makes] my last set a hornby thomas set but my cat mr shadow jumps on the tracks constantly and pulls them apart, with my fine motor skill issues i cant put the delicate tracks back together and have to wait for my aspie dad to come down and do them,i just thought f this and put them away. :(
 
Thankfully, I am able to do my own repair and track assembly. I am level 2 ASD, but with challenges in other areas. I am a total clutz and libel to trip over the track I just laid on the floor to run said train! I find the larger trains, like G and number 1 scale easier to assemble and run. I am working on getting some more Marklin Maxi trains, they are gauge 1 size, made of metal and less expensive than the regular gauge one trains from that brand. The quality is top notch. Marklin gauge 1 trains is what was used back when the Thomas the Tank shows were done with real models and not CGI animation. Mike the Aspie
