Do you still read hardcover or real books?

Both! It depends on what book I want from the library.

I tend to get paperbacks as they are cheaper, if I need to purchase any books.

Used books have gotten very cheap in thrift shops now. Nobody wants them anymore.

Yes, I still read books. I like reference materials such as enclopedias. I also have certain favorite fiction books.

Nope, it's all digital for me. I read braille, and the only way to get braille books in hard cover is from the library for the blind, or you can pay a company to emboss it for you. Also, a normal book can take three to four volumes the size of encyclopedias. Or I can have a braille display that hooks via bluetooth, and I have access to almost any book I want.

I do audiobooks and ebooks both. I have a braille display, which is like a keyboard with braille dots at the bottom, sorry, that description sucks. Whatever is showing on my phone screen also shows up in braille on my display. That's also how I type here.

I enjoy both audiobooks and traditional books. I mostly buy paperbacks versus hardcover since they are usually a bit better value for money....

I cannot say how much even with deficit how much I enjoy a good book.
And I think using too much screens is bad for your eye sight and leads to eye strain
So I still love reading a real book.
Well now I went back to it.
Does anyone read real books anymore for leisure and enjoyment?

I enjoy the feel of physical books over ebooks. E-readers are convenient if you don't have enough space in your home to dedicate to bookshelves. Nothing beats the sensory feel of real books, though. It makes me sad that I don't have the budget to get my own works printed yet. I also prefer softcover for most books that have it available.

That concept is so cool. From someone who still feels enthralled by the technology of sending a fax, your Braille display is amazing.

We used to get books in Braille, but it was for the large letters. Several people in my family (myself inclded) are visually impaired, but no one can read Braille.

Books that I know I won't eventually get rid of though I do try to get the hard cover.

Tablets and E-readers have their place especially on vacation. Or in my case pdfs but they just don't have that feel of a book. And there is something about turning a real page. Or the smell of a book.

I'm currently reading "Quantum Steampunk" The Physics of Yesterday's Tomorrow" in hardcover.

I really do prefer hardcover books. They are just so much more eloquent.

I have switched over to ebooks for most because of cost and storage space. Unless it is something special. Or on sale.

I still read physical books (both hardcover and paperback). I'm not the biggest fan of buying anything digital unless it's the only option.

I just purchased this online the Marvil Zomnibus. It's an anthology of all of the various Marvel Zombie comic books. A "What if" series where only the Marvel super heroes became zombies with their powers. Hilarity does not ensue. And yes it is hardcover. Not my photo but the only one I could find quickly online. Book doesn't arrive until later this week.
