One of my dogs is named Dingle, I'd never heard that name before.
Sounds like this fun little bell, not the whirling tornado of teeth the name is actually attached to.

When I was growing up, we got our first dog on a hot muggy day, so we called her Muggsy. She was a mix of 4 different breeds, a true mutt. Our current dog is named Dingo, because he looked like one. The shelter said he was a Lab-German Shepherd mix (I suspect they would say that to a Dachshund-Shi Tzu mix). We have since been told by at least a dozen knowledgeable people he is a Carolina Wild Dog, also known as an American Dingo.Add names that you have used or considered.
