Clothing Preference?

Your Brother-in-law I bet spends more time on his feet than he does on horseback. Laces pose a very dangerous hazard when working around livestock.

My brother-in-law is a real cowboy and he wears basically the same footwear as you. When I asked him why he didn't wear cowboy boots, he said that he did not want people to think that he was a truck driver. Go figure.
 
I have to have natural fibers - cotton being the best. I have a meltdown just putting on something polyester. Ahhh!!! Take it off! Take it off!!

Loose clothing. Polos, button-down, collared shirts (I actually like ironing), jeans in the winter, light-weight contton or linen pants/shorts in the summer.

Must have running shoes or boots. Cannot handle open-toed shoes, stuff gets in!!! (oh the horror!).

Likewise. I can handle that soft rayon viscose, and corduroys with some spandex for give, but cotton feels the most comfortable to me.

I have an outfit made of hemp cloth for summer that is utterly fantastic; the breezes slip right through it.

Fortunately, my job encourages sporty casual. I also like buying male sweaters; longer sleeves, more comfortable materials, and the tags are not like razor blades on the back of my neck.
 
Hemp clothes? I should look out for that, sounds very nice! At work we dress casual also - which is nice.

Ditto on men's clothing - more practical, lots of pockets, more stuff available in natural fibers. It's made for comfort - women's clothes is made for looks, comfort being but a distant consideration.
