Can you sing? Do you do Karaoke or anything?

Topic.

I sing every night on Singsnap and pay $15 a month (works out around £10.65 a month at current exchange rate) to unlock all the good stuff, expensive but worth it.

2 weeks ago I did a video of my singing for an ITV competition called Song Smash, and uploaded it for my entry, not heard anything yet.

And last October I auditioned for Britain's Got Talent at a local Casino, was invited to a second audition in Manchester in December but for various reasons I couldn't go :(

I can sing, and am related to a very famous singer whose daughter is also a singer but less well known. I also have a cousin who is a singer and singing coach, and once of my uncles is in a big choir. I used to have a more limited range of notes I could hit but with practice I can hit higher and lower notes than I used to, also I don't know if it is an Aspie thing as I have noticed Susan Boyle doing this but I used to elegonate some words in the lyrics a bit too much but this is something else I have worked to improve. Due to various reasons though I have never sung in public and have no plans to.

I can sing decently. I lettered in choir in high school and sing in my church choir.

I can sing a little. Had a few people praise me, but sometimes I sound so bad even I can tell, and had a number of people tell me I don't want to hear anymore. Sometimes, I've done silly-ish songs like an Ark Factory song (Friday) or teeny pop like Backstreet Boys, LOL. One little secret, I do like some of that stuff too, haha.

I can sing and I like karaoke. I go singing about twice a month. It took me over 2 years to be comfortable with it though (still not completely comfy), as I hadn't sung for many years.

I have done karaoke in the past I remember one of the first time I grabbed a microphone my hand started involuntary shaking like crazy but as if I can sing I don't think I can though some say I can.

Karaoke is a national pastime in Japan so I have a lot of experience with it. Mind you, in Japan karaoke is more often done in private rooms within a complex than in an open bar in front of strangers. That does exist, of course, but the most popular way is to go to "karaoke box" and hire a room for a set amount of time. The size of the room depends on the number of people with you.

Now that all said, I am not the best singer in the world. I can sing ok and I would probably do well with practice. But I'm not a natural. :D I prefer to sing alone, haha.

I can sing, but due to complete self consciousness, I can only sing when others are singing. I can actually tell when I sing off key, so it is not a case of the other singers, drowning out my awful voice.

I was told recently, when singing next to someone else that said: you have a lovely voice. She went on to say that one of her sons is exactly like me; he can sing, but not in front of others and on his own.

Of course I can sing! But it doesn't sound good though. :P I usually sing when I'm alone in the car on my drives to work/school.

I can sing! I love singing. I've been singing ever since I've been driving and just recently I found that I can actually mimic a large range of vocal styles. I've currently been pushing to see how far I can go. I've started obtaining Karaoke tracks to my choice songs so I can start practicing doing it solo without mimicking. It's so Fun!

I don't sing around others though. Maybe if I practice hard enough, I'll have the confidence to blow everyone's minds one day I go to a Karaoke bar. It's not as easy as people think so I want to practice. XD
