Hi, I'm a PhD student in marketing studying consumer sensory issues in marketplaces. I'm looking for five interviewees with Asperger's syndrome who can do an interview with me for 20-45 minutes.

I have to point out that I'm not sure how many people you're likely to find who are happy to talk to a stranger either through Skype, or over the phone.

Seems like 30 text interviews would be a better
sample than 5 done by voice.

Five is a small number. At least 30 would offer a
more plausible chance of statistical significance.

Apologies to the OP, but I burst out laughing reading their request.

Then again the OP also left no clue as to being part of or affiliated to an educational institution with an .edu address, yet promises some form of compensation. There are a whole lot of phone scams out there which appear as innocent interviews, all designed for you to give up certain personal details which may result in identity theft.

Real marketing surveys depend upon a great deal of feedback to create meaningful, quantifiable statistical data. At twenty bucks a pop courtesy of Amazon, that just doesn't add up. Even if this was a legitimate study, clearly they are seeking information more pertinent to marketing and less to autism. Be very careful.

You might consider interviewing Aspies/Auties by personal messaging or by email questions. Rather than by skype or phone. Giving us time to respond in a less stressful and anxiety provoking manner. Where we don't have to answer immediately and where we might respond with the socially 'expected' thing, instead of what we really think.

Hi guys, my .edu email address has my full first and last name. If one of you wanna do an interview and report back here to see if I held my end of the bargain feel free. And yes I understand that you all are hermits and can be difficult to reach.

@AspergersInterviews

Where is the .edu email address with the first and last name?
I don't see it anywhere in this thread.
It isn't on your Profile.

So it seems that you are saying that people should
Private Message you their details, while you have
provided none yourself.

Exactly where do I sign up for the hermit interview? Not gonna happen. Good luck in your future endeavors.

That seems true enough.
