Anyone know any good Karaoke sites that work on latest Chrome browser?

Topic.

I have looked on Google, but didn't see what I was looking for.

I've previously been using singsnap.com, a Canadian site which has a lot of good songs, paying $10 a month for the Gold account to unlock unlimited singing and specialist songs that are locked to Gold account singers.

Anyway for the last few months since the last Chrome OS update, the singing on the website doesn't work in the Chrome browser, something do with the way Flash works or something so I'm looking for a new site. I know of redkaraoke.com and Lucky Voice.

I've never really been into karaoke, except I did work in the 2nd bar in the Midlands UK to get a Pioneer laser karaoke machine in the late 1980's and even I had to test it after hours (it took large 12 inch laser discs, this was long before DVDs existed). I remember a Monday night was normally almost dead, but when Monday became laser karaoke night the place had queues outside, it was so new and very popular back then. It was especially a novelty since the system optionally modified your voice to sound more like the actual singer in real time which was state of the art for those days and to see digital high quality music videos with lyrics on the big screen appear as you sung them was also stunning to see (the bar had a video wall made out of 16 large CRT monitors which was again state of the art for the late 1980s). After a while loads of places had karaoke (many had inferior systems like VHS tapes and a projector for instance) and eventually the main part of the craze past, but even though the laser disc system was expensive it paid for itself many times over and karaoke never totally died out, and as you know is still fairly popular even today.

Anyway, back to answering your question, here's an interesting top 15 sites, well it's actually around 12 as there's a couple of dead links and I'd probably ignore Youtube as a useful suggestion, even though I've seen it mentioned as a karaoke site all over the web it's pretty obvious and even though it does have loads of free karaoke tracks, there's obviously no sing rating or other interaction:

PS: They're slowly phasing out Adobe Flash since with HTML5 there's no real need for it any more, also I believe there's security concerns. Chrome will still support it until 2020 however, please click here for help on fixing it. You might also have to right click the Flash part of a site to run it now too.
