Answer a QUESTION with a QUESTION

If you were cooking eggs and you ended up with extra egg sauce, wouldn't you just naturally dump it on top of the eggs?
 
If you were cooking eggs and ended up with extra egg sauce, would that imply that you either made a mistake cooking eggs, or made a mistake cooking egg sauce?
 
Since all people are fallible, is it not better to fail on the side of providing plenty than it would be to fail by providing scarcity?
