@Forest Cat , That bridge alone proves that you are still seafaring, fearless vikings, to this day. I have a friend with Norse ancestry, but he's American, and he'd probably love driving across that. Timberline Lodge, Mount Hood, Oregon.

A lovely hotel to visit, winter or summer. The restaurant is so cozy and warm. They serve the most delicious hot cocoa on earth.
