    @Aspychata I did meet a couple of new women casually. Follow one on Instagram, just comment on art stuff. Meet up twice at a sketch meetup. Never got her number. Snail pace. Another two I meet I just casually talk, no number exchange snail 🐌 🐢.

    I practiced a few facial expressions in the mirror for 30 minutes yesterday, especially smiling. I hate having to do mundane things like this to please others, and I wasn’t even satisfied with the results afterwards 😅.

    I thought about my eye contact as well. I think a mistake I make is thinking only one second is enough (or mandatory), then I can just do what I want with them.

    The bad thing about talking to women is that they never mention controversial opinions and always play it safe, especially when it comes to politics. This makes it hard for me to be controversial and ‘spice’ things up. If their guard is up, I feel like I’m on an offense which makea me feel a bit bad.

    I find a lot of them are very up front about their politics. But controversial, it feels like you're probably right. As you know the genders are drifting apart politically. I'd say be yourself, you enjoy discussing politics, just have an excuse ready if it bombs.

    Planning on learning to drive soon. I wasted a summer not doing anything because travelling is too expensive otherwise.

    I've had a permit twice and never managed to get my license. No, I don't live in a big city. I don't really want to live in a big city either. I just wish I could learn to drive.

    Is it necessary to have a presence on social media as a young person?
    I don't have an instagram or a snapchat.. I'm unsure of how much it hurts my chances of finding a gf. I think perhaps people view people without these things with suspicion or something similar.

    @honeytoast Yeah, I don't use any of the five you listed either. I've read some things that were open to the general public on a couple of them before but I don't post anything and don't have an account I could tell you how to go to. A past job required something, Facebook I think, but I never used it.

    I think it is inevitable. Consider how easily manipulated people are nowadays by the smartest schemers. We will truly be playthings at some point once AI surpasses pur smartest minds and reaches a certain point of intelligence.

    It’s important to learn that others will have valid experiences that are different from your own. It is not wrong for you to not feel sad. But neither is it wrong for your mother and sister to feel sad.

    Perhaps, you don’t really get why they are sad, but you get that they are sad. This is a chance to explore the concept of empathy.

    Ruining your internal state for an animal is wrong and silly. It’s also a waste of money and time spent which should have been spent on a loved one or soneone close.

    It takes a lot of energy away from living to spend too much time dwelling in judgment.

    But how you spend your thoughts and energy is up to you. I’m just offering my perspective, not at all attached to changing yours.

    I ate a full pizza with mayonnaise sauce and now I just want to commit suicide. I want to die so bad, I feel like I’ve poisoned myself. Compare this with my previous post. Diet is everything.

    Also I just had organic raw eggs mixed with organic raw kefir after not having it for 2 months and I feel so happy right now. I'm just so happy to be alive, almost to tears.

    I have a lot of co-workers from Hong Kong. They're all rich and financially set for the rest of their lives. Yet only a couple have families and more than one child. I asked one lady if she has children. She responded by saying she has 3 dogs. I wanted to laugh in her face, but she is a sweet person. They're all well-educated and worked high-stress jobs for 12+ hours a day for many, many years.

    I was very disgusted at this level of brainwashing. How could such intelligent and rich (the elite) people have superiors pulling their strings determining how many children they could have? What were they working for? Even they could not diverge from societies pressure and government propaganda.

    I plan to get drunk tomorrow during the Europa league final at a pub. I hate watching football, but a friend invited me. I'm curious as to what what happens in pubs during big games. I consider it as an act of "assimilating".

    I still think you're making a mistake with the whole getting drunk thing, but you've got to make your own choices. I just hope you come to your senses before you end up wrapping your car around a tree with yourself inside or running over a pedestrian or something.

    I think girls are starting to be more warm/receptive to me. I need to learn how to become like that with them. It's hard since I'm a little jaded at their nature from how they've treated me in the past.

    It's tough when we've had so many bad past experiences. I think it's really good to notice when we are doing this.

    There's always room to think that things can be different. If we allow ourselves to change and grow, sometimes good things come of it. 🌈

    Yes, but avoid using it in conversations or you will annoy people. The personal satisfaction of knowing what one knows, and what one does not know, is worth it, though.

    My recommendation is to learn a bit of "syllogistic logic" (adding two premise together to arrive at a conclusion), "rhetoric" (techniques that give words increased impact) and "logical fallacies" (inherently false arguments) as most useful in daily life.

    Symbolic logic is quite abstract and most useful if one is, say, trying to figure out string theory, or quantum fluctuations, or meta- subjects.

    Just be careful. Getting drunk with your friend isn't inherently bad, but you can get yourself into major trouble if you aren't careful. Especially if you're going on a trip to a place you are not familiar with (Or are familiar with). You never know what can happen.

    drunken episodes are sort of like trials/experiments mainly.
