Why do people say things like "seek professional help" when the other person is likely just as much as messed up as I am? So condescending. It should be more common to say "continue, just learn from your mistakes". Isn't that what the other person has done to get where they are? Experience is the best teacher.
My day at work was much better. I interacted with those people in my other post amicably. They initiated in a friendly manner first, and we had a great back and forth. It seems I misinterpreted what happened yesterday. I also worked with a few other nice people. I was good in conversation. My biggest weakness I need to fix is initiation. I cannot read and understand the context surrounding this.
I also wish that we had a place for outcasts and rejects that is considered 'noble' or 'virtuous' like the night's watch.
I feel like Tyrion Lannister. Outcast from my own people, family and girls by being defect from birth. At least I can read about and relate to such a niche pain. It makes me feel special.
I've been at work for 2 months now. All the people I befriended/allied with have gone. They are keeping me on because I'm a hard worker.
Also, I think I was getting made fun of by people of my own ethnicity. Even worse, it was in the native language. You are the worst if you talk in a foreign language around someone who does not understand it whilst laughing at that person.
Being male, autistic and short is an unbelievably brutal existence.

Conversation feels so superfluous nowadays. It's been years since I've had a fun, enjoyable conversation with someone. Acting like an idiot and not thinking what I say through, using whatever language I feel like, not being as 'efficient' as possible with my words. I feel like having fun is inefficient, if that makes sense.

I may be coming across as 'cold' to people unintentionally. I feel it is kind of inefficient to use energy on others when I could be thinking of something else or relaxing my mind. Does anyone have any thoughts or tips to share here? If I was talking to a beautiful person, I'd be very energetic around them. I feel as though this is natural behaviour.

It's weird how you cannot not like beautiful people. They really are God/nature's gift to us average people. I feel so much gratitude towards them, even towards the whole world/universe as circumstances led to the moment of me seeing them and feeling such an emotion.
I had my first clash with a co-worker today. I thought about it for a while and realised it is beneath me and a waste of my time caring for the opinion of an undisciplined, late 40s, minimum wage worker. Who even has the energy to get frustrated during some minimum wage random job?
Christmas feels odd this year. Everyone seems miserable on Christmas eve. Must be because I've transitioned more deeply into the adult world?
I've been doing new things, so meeting new people as well. I realised that my social life and social skills haven't changed much at all. I had expectations that I don't think were extreme, yet I've not met them. I think I can conclude that the problem is with me fully. Perhaps I'm not open enough, giving others enough of an opportunity to connect, or not reciprocating enough or clearly.
The puritan movement sounds very appealing to me. And those hour-long sermons.. exactly what I was looking for. Why would someone choose to sing awkwardly with strangers rather than learn is beyond me.
