Insomnia and cell phone browsing should never be mixed, I am starting to realize that.

It's a shame not to mix them, they support each other very well...
People on social media suck. Forget Facebook, X and Reddit. We need to disconnect from junk media and reconnect with our humanity.

Not true. I recently connected to some really nice people on social media. One gave me a major breakthrough that is changing my life for. the better

@Tony Ramirez You got very lucky. Not to say there aren't nice people on socail media. But 99% of it now is all toxic. In fact there is a video I found that makes this point about X before it became X.

I really need to stop reading the news media. Most of it from both sides is fake and made to piss people off to sell advertising because rage is addictive.

Maybe it's time to step away from both? Remember: the media only shows the extremes. Because nothing else drives views/clicks. It's easy to look at that and think "everyone is like this" but that aint how it works. But it's certainly the perception it gives. Just as it's designed to. This goes for the news, social media, and all sorts of things.

That's a big part of what I was getting at. I had similar thoughts for ages, but upon getting out there for real I find that most people arent actually like that. Most just are normal, average, no trouble. That's what I've seen.

Seriously, get away from it for awhile. Push your boundaries and take some serious time to explore the world. For yourself, in person. That's my advice. The same advice I had to learn the hard way. Also I hate this stupid character limit on here. How irritating...
I love the Keurig I have at my house, and I love the Keurig I have access to at the office. Coffee is liquid motivation to get work done.

Keurigs are the best. I love to make hot chocolate on cold days. I’m about to make one right now. The wind is blowing everything outside.

Hot beverages are great. Stay warm everyone. FL was a little nippy, and tomorrow we have wind. But l know it's colder in other places.
Coffee sounds great. I will make some decaf because I return to work tomorrow. Who wants coffee and anime with me tonight?

What Anime? I have a hankering for Your Name by Shinkai. I'll take my coffee with Splenda and cream.

Tonight I am watching Record of Lodoss War, the OVA series. It is great stuff.
I feel like listening to Kendrick Lamar. We’ve got a pool full of liquor and we dive in! Strange how some people think that’s an actual party song.
Damn, it feels great to wake up feeling fully refreshed and ready to start to day! Sorry for harping on about this, but I love the results of my surgery very much.
External validation is every bit as addictive as meth. I need to be wean myself off and be my own man for a change.

I feel conflicted, as to whether it is appropriate to give your post a "Like"

I also felt conflicted about giving it an "agree," but I agree that this is a good mindset to follow and it will serve you better to quit the quest for external validation.

(Sometimes, choosing the "right" reaction emoji is a very long process for me.)

@Rodafina , yes it can be difficult, I find it especially difficult if I'm in doubt if things are ment in a fun or serious way :) but also, like the reaction should be understood in the right way.
I still am amazed at how much better is breathing is now that the splints have been removed, and it’s been several hours already.
Video games are fun in moderation but can get tiring quickly if I do nothing but that like I have been since the surgery.
