"Ah, I think she meant that a different way but it came out wrong? Whatever the case is, just try to breathe. I know things are hard for you, and I want you to know UberScout's going through a lot, too. It might last awhile, but it stops at some point. The good news is you can help that along, and it's not hard, I promise.

Besides, I think you'll feel better after a nap."

Markness. I understand your existential loneliness, having gone through that. I hope you will like yourself and be confident in who you are and start giving nice women a choice of partners. Of course, you need to assess what you can bring to a relationship and work on that, too. It is never too late for you, but that will happen if you delay working on your positives

You asked me why I said you want to be a murderer.

Has it escaped your notice that "suicide" involves killing a person?
I am calling in sick today. I don’t feel well at all.

Thank you. I feel both physically and mentally unwell. I am starting to cry right now. :(

How can I prevent more people from hating me? Last year was a constant stream of hatred from others.

My advice is think only about the people that like you not those that don't. The more you think about haters the worse it will appear in your mind, forget them.

Who exactly were these haters, though? And why were you interacting with them?

Dont interact with jerks and bullies, I've said that before, gonna keep saying it. And dont spend perfectly good braincells on things said by bullies. I've said THAT before too.

Some will like you, some will hate you...99.9% will never meet you. There are 7 billion people in this world.

Most people don't want to hang around a miserable person. Want friends? Change your outlook. :) That will attract more people to you. You have to make the effort though. If all you're going to do is complain and not try...that's on you. Be willing to change.

One thing is constant in this world...change. :)
Drinking a can of Nitro Pepsi.

Is that one with extra caffeine? Sounds like it would be, based on the name.
I used to like the Blue Voltage Mountain Dew but it didn't help with some of my health issues. I don't drink soda anymore aside from ginger ale, Sprite, and sparkling water.

It's the one infused with nitrogen. It's supposed to be smoother than a normal Pepsi. I tried it once, and I personally think it tastes like a flat soda because the carbonation leaves way too soon, but that's just me.

Also, adding up how much protein you need. 40 to 60 grams a day. An older people need to increase protein, not decrease it.

Good going. Now for some exercise. Little steps, Markness.

Little steps are so important. In everything we do. I appreciate taking little steps. Little steps lead to success.

First, lose the angst. Desperation will affect your behavior. Not for the better.
Like yourself and enjoy things, even if it means going solo.
What are your goals for being social and become independent? Make a plan.
    Look for the shy gals.
I am glad I don’t work for the next few days since I have food poisoning in my system.

So sorry. That's nasty and painful. Take care of yourself.
I lost my super glue tube and I don’t remember how it could’ve happened. Geez, this whole year has been about me losing things and messing up. :( I’m such a failure.

I swear, you sometimes seem like you're trying to make "hating yourself" into some sort of Olympic sport or something, considering how much effort you put into doing it. You arent a failure because you lost some tube or some gizmo. That's silly and you know it.

Besides, if you think losing a tube of whatever is bad, I tell ya, I once lost my keychain. It is three feet long and loud. Where was it? Hanging on my neck. No, I dont know why. So yeah. "Dropped tube somewhere, cant find it" aint too bad compared to that goofiness.

@Misery this is why I have my keys on a dog chain caribena'd to my jeans. If I leave my keys in the front door again, I'm taking the door with me! Hard to ignore a door hanging off your pants! :smilecat:
I never heard back from my instructor about getting my story published. Did she lie to me?

It never occurred to me to wonder whether my instructor was lying to me about putting my stuff
in the school yearly lit publication. Was just a routine matter and took time from when he said
*this is going in* to the thing actually getting published.
Why is it ok for others to hate me but if I speak up for myself, I am in the wrong?

The suppositions of both those premises are in error.

You're never in the wrong for speaking up for yourself, but do be aware that you might not like the responses of others when you do (but don't let that prevent you , either!)
My alarm clock didn’t sound off this morning. I slept way past the time I usually get up. Fortunately, work is an hour and 15 minutes later than usual for me lately.
