    Havent we been over this? You might not be so lonely all the time if you'd just stop telling yourself how worthless you think you are. Key word there is "think", because that's what this is all about... your own negative thought cycle. Nobody can pull you out of this except yourself. But dagnabit, you cant do that until you stop saying "I cant" and start saying "I can".

    Two people that may have been on a date were in the immediate vicinity of where I was waiting to get dinner. It was difficult to wait when that happened.

    You were upset because they "may have" been on a date?? You are not doing yourself any favors. I'm not trying to be mean. But you can't let this ruin your life.
    Have you ever talked to a doctor about possibly suffering from intrusive thoughts from OCD or another type of anxiety disorder? These sound like obsessive intrusive thoughts to me. I have intrusive thoughts too and they aren't fun.

    I usually don't like to advocate for the use of medications, but in this case an atypical antidepressant may be useful for treating this kind of anxiety. There are also types of therapy that can help you retrain your brain to negate these kinds of obsessive thoughts. Please talk to a doctor or see a therapist.
