    I’m sorry, you guys :( I really miss my grandparents too.

    I am off work today but I still feel low. A lot of it has to do with how I feel so stuck in life.

    I used to want to be in a band and create my own music but I never could find like minded friends and my own musical ability never improved.

    I wanted that too, but my issue has always been more that it’s hard to find other musicians who are interested in similar genres. I’m not really a rock or metal drummer. I’m more of an EDM/drum&bass musician and I play a lot of traditional music and folk music with my hand drums. So my talent isn’t exactly marketable for a lot of bands and I feel kind of bad about that. And I can’t sing.

    A friend of mine just starts bands with people as he pleases. A casual attitude of asking people if they want to try making music together. Granted it's rarely any good, but they're playing and playing is how you get better.

    I hate it when the supervisor assistant lectures me. It makes me anxious and feel defeated since my tendency is to shut down.

    Why would you want to "prove" something to bullies? If they are bullies they wont care whether you succeed or fail and trying to prove something to them just means that they have influence over you. Instead, try to remove this influence by moving past their judgment. You owe these people nothing and they shouldent get to live rent free inside your head, ignore them.

    Key word in girlfriend is friend--Insisting that you have to wait some arbitrary amount of time denies the reality that you absolutely can grow along with her--like in a healthy normal friendship.
    You sure do get some weird "hot take" advice from people.

    am very tired and extremely bored. been playing fallout3 but still bored. I haven't watched one piece in years, is it worth watching from the beginning (ep1)? I have to watch tv shows in chronological order, that's just how i am.

    I’ve picked back up Dark Souls recently and I am finally getting to some areas in it that I thought would be impossible to get to! I am the same way regarding shows so yes, definitely watch it from the beginning. I am also re-reading the manga from the beginning. I didn’t start actually watching the anime until near the end of last year.

    Give it a shot; I'd say it's probably fine. I've been telling myself not to go back into radio club since some guy asked me to join the "patriot" group somewhere, so I kinda understand how the vibe of a place changes after the politicking starts--

    Someone told me not to commit suicide said I needed to support causes he did and didn’t want me to have a girlfriend even though I am depressed for that reason.

    If they're things outside of your ability to change/control - then you need to shift your focus elsewhere. Easier said than done, I know. But with practice it gets easier.
