Do most people become more autistic?

I suspect, for myself anyways, that PTSD is a factor. It’s just too much trauma. Everything I do and everywhere I go reminds me of a traumatic experience. Usually job related. And I can’t pretend that I’m gonna find a place I fit. I can’t tell myself comforting fantasies about how I’m going to...

Can y’all see the old woman?

Yes. I’ve always been good at these. I used to invent and draw them myself often

    Being "mothered" by people

I think that this is just how many nice ladies show affection. I wouldn’t take it personally. I mother everything and everyone. I try to be respectful about it but it’s not something that I can shut off.

    ASD appropriate jobs

I can only work for myself. Now that I know I’m AS I have finally stopped beating myself up about that. I’ve had a few different businesses but have decided to focus on writing now.

Let's create our own dream school for autistic people and not only..

The shocking REAL story of Methea.

I understand what you meant but I would caution you against using the phrase “politically correct” in this context. In the US it means the opposite. Political correctness is speaking with compassion about oppressed peoples. The Euripides version is better termed as “propaganda” or political...

People with autism 'have greater quality of creative ideas'

He certainly suffered from some sort of cognitive issues. Hard to tell what happened but Absinthe is a helluva drug and Syphillis rots your brain.

    *waves* Hullo everyone!

Thanks! I’ve heard such horror stories about people trying to get a diagnosis and, at this point, I know myself. The only 2 people who care (my husband and son) both agree with me about the diagnosis. My son is definitely AS and I’m not sure about my husband. At first I thought he was but now I...

    High functioning

I think I would be termed as High Functioning however it’s measured but I don’t mask at all. I suspect my whole family of origin is ND and we moved a lot so I thought I was “normal” and chalked up communication issues to cultural differences.
